Ayurvedic Treatment for Candida (An Insidious Yeast Infection)
Various types of fungus live on the internal and external side on the human body, Candida is most probably found on our body and the most common cause of fungal infection. It is a yeast that normally occurs in the mouth and groin region. 20 species are available of candida but the most common is Candida albicans. Some of it is found on many sites of the body like skin, mouth, and vagina. It is the condition, that is not harmful to the body but there are some causes which promotes the growth of fungus and then produces negative effects on our body. Candida overgrowth is called candidiasis.

Causes
- When patient takes more antibiotic medicines for any bacterial infection (such as skin infection or inflammatory disease.
- Pregnancy
- lack of hygiene during menstruation which can spread through use of cloth or any other unhealthy way to manage the bleeding
- Chronic exposure to water
- Weak immune system
- Through disease like diabetes
- High intake of the carbohydrates, refined grains
- Environmental toxins
- High alcohol intake
- Taking oral contraceptives
- High-stress levels
Types
1. Thrush (Oropharyngeal Candidiasis)
when candidiasis affects the mouth and throat region, this is called Thrush. It is most commonly seen in newborns babies. Unhygienic oral or removable dentures can be the cause of risk which can increase the problem.
2. Genital Yeast Infection (Genital Candidiasis)
It is also called a yeast infection. 75 % of women are infected at least one time of their lifetime. Males are also affected but less commonly seen. Mostly candida is present in the groin region after that chances of some circumstances the infection is increased.
3. Bloodstream (Invasive Candidiasis)
When candida yeast passes out in the bloodstream (like through medical device or instrument), it moves to all over the organs. And after that causes a major life-threatening problem.

Signs and Symptoms
- Fever and Chills – when candida yeast affects the bloodstream, of the body the infected blood passes through the body tissues and organs
- Genital infest infection (extreme itchiness on the vagina, redness or inflammation of the vagina and vulva (the external part of the female genitals, discomfort during sex, thick white discharge from the vagina like cottage cheese) and in men, groin region is affected through yeast infection and on penis outer side some rashes are seen.

Test for Candida Over-Growth
- IgG, IgA, and IgM candida antibodies – when these antibodies are highly increased than they indicate that candida infection has been produced in the body. After that immune system suppress
- Complete blood count (CBC) – In affected persons white blood cell count decreases due to candida overgrowth in the body.
- Urine organic dysbiosis test – candida overgrowth is represented by the detection of D- Arbinitol. If this is elevated, that it means overgrowth of candida.
Treatment for Candidiasis
- First intake of the low-level sugar and carbohydrate products, non-glutinous grains, lean protein are recommended.

1. Aller – G Care
It is prepared by standardized extracts of many plants like Haridra (Curcuma longa) Shirish (Albezzia lebbock), Neem ( Azadirachta indica). it is 100 % vegetarian preparation made with extract of herbs. It works against many bacterial and fungal infections.
