Many theories have stated that it is an infectious thrombosis of the choriocapillary layer by an unidentified organism. It also involves genetic and environmental factors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What are the Symptoms of Punctate Inner Choroidopathy?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The symptoms\nmay vary from person to person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Blurring of vision<\/li><li>Photopsia (flashing lights)<\/li><li>Photophobia (sensitivity to light)<\/li><li>A blind spot appears (scotomata)<\/li><li>Loss of peripheral vision<\/li><li>Distorted vision<\/li><li>Inflammation in the posterior part of the eye<\/li><li>Lesions appear at the level of the inner choroid or at the back of the eye<\/li><li>These lesions are present bilaterally in more than half of the patients but most of the times these are asymmetrical.<\/li><li>The area appears grayish-white or there is a yellow punctate area.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ayucliniko.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Punctate-Inner-Choroidopathy.png\" alt=\"Herbal Remedies for Punctate Inner Choroidopathy\" class=\"wp-image-96757\"\/><figcaption>Herbal Remedies for Punctate Inner Choroidopathy<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Differential Diagnosis<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This is very important to differentiate the multi-focal choroiditis panuveitis from punctate inner choroidopathy.
