The coat of dog can be single and double coat which is made soft undercoat and tough topcoat. The dogs those have double coat are made of stiff hairs which helps in shielding them from dirt and repel the water. The variety of dog coat color, pattern, lengths, and textures is vast that is found in domestic dogs. The coat type of the dogs depends on the climate, vegetation, and the environment where they live.\u00a0 The dog&#8217;s coat is the most noticeable and attractive physical characteristic. The hair in this type of coat lies close to the body, such as in Dachshund breed, the dogs need to be bathed and brushed regularly. This double-coat, can be short- or long-haired.
