According to Ayurveda, we can correlate these cancers to Arbuda. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Causes of Vocal Cord Cancer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Aahara karana&#8217;s\n(Dietary habits) \u2013 Consumption of carcinogenic substances like \u2013 alcoholic\nbeverages, junk foods, polluted water, processed meat etc.<\/li><li>Vihara karana&#8217;s\n(Lifestyle behavior) \u2013 Sedentary lifestyle, excessive exposure to sunlight. <\/li><li>Mansik karana&#8217;s (Mental\nstatus) \u2013 Stress and strains.<\/li><li>Environmental factors \u2013\nAir pollution &#8211; mists and pollen.<\/li><li>Occupational hazards \u2013\nOccupational exposure to inorganic acids like &#8211; sulfuric acid etc. Those who\nwork in rubber and glass industries, painters are more susceptible to producing\ncarcinoma.<\/li><li>Genetic factors \u2013 If\nthere is any family history of throat cancer, they are more susceptible.<\/li><li>Metastasis \u2013 It may be\na metastatic growth or secondary growth.<\/li><li>Abhighata \u2013 Any History\nof Trauma.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Signs and Symptoms of Vocal Cord Cancer <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Symptoms of vocal cord cancer may include <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Dysphonia \u2013 Most people\nwith voice complaints have benign cancer.<\/li><li>Dysarthria \u2013 Slow\nspeech that can be difficult to understand.<\/li><li>Dysphagia &#8211;
