A pituitary adenoma is a type of tumor in the pituitary gland which may be a non-cancerous or a benign tumor. It may appear due to genetic change of a cell in the gland. These adenomas are non-malignant that do not spread to the other parts of the body. Tumors in other parts of the body like pancreas, lungs.
